Spinach Salad with Berry Vinaigrette

  • ¼ cup organic blue agave syrup
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 2 tablespoons dried chopped onions
  • ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons flax seed oil
  • ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 10 oz. baby spinach
  • 1 cup strawberries cut in quarters
  • 4 oz. brie cheese – cut in 1 inch by 1/4 inch pieces.


  1. In a blender mix the first 8 ingredients. Set aside the dressing. It is best to make this a few hours prior to serving. Plate the spinach and top with strawberries and Brie. Drizzle the dressing on top right before serving. Click for larger image

The dressing can be made a day ahead and kept refrigerated. Bring to room temperature prior to serving. The dressing will keep in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks.
