  • 4 4 oz pieces of salmon
  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons wasabi paste
  • 4 tablespoons pickled ginger

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400°F. Mix honey and soy sauce. Place salmon with the honey-soy mixture in a plastic zipper bag, marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Line a baking dish with non-stick foil. Place salmon in the baking dish; pour marinade on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cook in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Top with wasabi and pickled ginger. Notes

I like to serve this with steamed rice and stir-fried vegetables. The pickled ginger can usually be found in the “International Food” aisle or the sushi area at the grocery store. Wasabi usually comes as a powder and only requires the addition of water.
