GRILLED SALMON WITH ORANGE AND HERBS

Bright, zesty, and bursting with fresh flavor, this Grilled Salmon with Orange and Herbs is a vibrant twist on a seafood classic. Juicy segments of orange and ripe tomatoes mingle with fresh basil, thyme, and cilantro to create a refreshing topping that complements the smoky, tender salmon perfectly. Finished with a splash of lemon juice and a drizzle of olive oil, this dish is as simple as it is satisfying—perfect for warm evenings or when you’re craving something light and flavorful.
- 1 Seedless orange
- 2 small tomatoes
- ½ small red onion
- 2 Tablespoons fresh Basil
- 1 Tablespoon thyme
- 1 Tablespoon chopped Cilantro
- 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 4-oz boneless salmon fillets
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Heat the grill
- Grate about 1 Tablespoon of the orange rind and place in a bowl. Add chopped orange, tomatoes, onion, basil, thyme and cilantro. Mix in olive oil, lemon juice. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Grill the salmon for about 4 minutes per side.
- Place salmon on a plate, top with orange mixture, and serve.
