French Green beans with Garlic

  • 8 oz fresh, French green beans
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon butter


  1. Bring a medium pot of water to boil. Place the green bean in the boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to not over cook – want to maintain crispness. Drain the water and flash the beans with cold water to stop the cooking. In a large skillet heat butter and garlic under medium heat. Once the butter starts to melt add the green beans, toss and heat through. Season with salt and pepper and serve. Click for larger image
